Disaster Purchasing allows eligible state and local governments to quickly and efficiently acquire products and services through our Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) or by establishing blanket purchase agreements (BPA) with MAS contractors.
Disaster Purchasing is available to support disaster preparation, response, and recovery efforts related to natural or man-made disasters that have been declared by FEMA. In addition, it provides resources for recovery from terrorism, as well as incidents involving nuclear, biological, chemical, or radiological attacks.
Cooperative Purchasing empowers eligible state and local government agencies to conveniently purchase commercial IT, law enforcement, and security-related products and services from approved categories—whether for immediate or future needs. The 1122 Program enables states and units of local government, as defined in 10 U.S.C. 281(d), to purchase equipment specifically for counter-drug, homeland security, and emergency response activities.
